Depending on the LED light that you choose, you can choose different sensors depending on their compatibility. In the following table you can find the compatibility that exists between the different sensors and lights.

What sensor can I assemble with the different LED lights that exist in the Emuca catalogue?

Yes, with a Spirit capacitive sensor you can control as many lights as you want. Provided that the permissible 80 W power of the capacitive sensor is not surpassed.

The Spirit sensor can be installed in a concealed manner behind several materials:
- Wood, chipboard and MDF with a thickness of up to 32 mm.
- Plastic with a thickness of up to 22mm.
- Glass with a thickness of up to 12mm.
- It is not compatible with mirror and its functioning is not guaranteed.

The Micron sensor makes it possible to connect several lights with a single converter (provided that it does not exceed the power of 24W), as it can be connected to 12V DC (after the converter).

Thanks to its dimmer function you will be able to increase or reduce the light flow from 100% to 5% in a progressive range with long pressing, while for switching on or turning off all of the lights, all that is needed is a short pressing on the sensor.

A sensor dimmer is a device that makes it possible to control the light intensity of one or several lights, in this manner it is possible to reduce or increase the light flow, provided that the properties of the lighting allow for it.

It will depend on the characteristics of the light whether or not it can be adjusted with a sensor dimmer.

With the lights in our catalogue, as a general rule it is possible to adjust the intensity of all the lights that are connected to 12 V DC. Provided that the sensor dimmer is connected after the 12 V DC converter.

On the contrary, it is not possible to regulate the intensity of lights that need a constant 350 mA intensity, nor is it possible to adjust the lights that are connect to an AC current as they have the converter built-in.

When this happens, it is necessary to bear in mind that the controller switches on the output switch when it detects the movement of a human body.

That is to say, the controller does not detect the movements of objects, for example the movement of a door.

Also, in order for it to detect movement, it is necessary to cut across its detection range. The Twelfy MOTION sensor has a detection range of 2 metres and an angle of 90º.

The main difference is the position they are fitted in during installation.

The 12V sensors (Twelfy) are placed between the light and the converter. Consequently, the converter is always working.

The 240V sensors (Red eye) are placed between the converter and the electric socket.

The big advantage of a 12 V sensor (Twelfy) is that is makes it possible to connect with a single converter (maximum admissible power 40W), on the other hand the 240V sensors (Red eye) need two converters.

What is the difference between the 12V sensors (Twelfy) and the 240V sensors (Red eye)?

The Red Eye sensors that functions at 240V AC are different in accordance with their functionality and your needs.
