Life inside furniture

With over 35 years' experience,he Emuca Group designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of products for the furniture, carpentry, hardware and DIY sectors.

Our commercial headquarters in Valencia (Spain), Padua (Italy), Chelmsford (United Kingdom), Nantes (France) and Lisbon (Portugal) allows us to remain in direct contact with the latest trends in the furniture sector and our R+D+i department is dedicated to reflecting these trends in our products.

To ensure that our operations are as efficient as possible we have a factory in Spain that offers complete solutions in aluminium.

With over 35 years on the market, we want to be close to our clients and that is why we have different subsidiaries throughout Europe. We export to over 50 countries and have an extensive, fully trained network of sales personnel all over Europe, all of whom are well aware of the demands placed on us by the different markets.

Our headquarters in Padua, Italy, means that we are directly in touch with the latest design trends in the Italian furniture sector, which we transfer, through our R+D+I departments, to the design of our own products Our logistics facilities in Padua are our most strategic point due to their location in the north of Italy, which facilitates the distribution of our products throughout the whole of Europe.

    The foundations that have made Emuca into the business group that it is today were laid.

    Aluminum factory

    New trends in the furniture sector led to the creation of the Palbox Industrial S.L. factory, offering efficient, complete solutions in aluminium.

    Internationalisation begins - Portugal

    The company’s strategic project for internationalisation is implemented, starting with Portugal.

    Automatization of the Warehouse

    To increase distribution to new markets the warehouse is given a 2000m2 extension.

    Creation of the R+D+I department

    In keeping with the company’s strategy of promoting innovation and the ongoing improvement of its own products, the R+D+i department was consolidated in 2002.

    Acquisition of the Italian company Técnical, with extensive export experience, and the Slovenian company Prometal Doo means a significant step forward in the company’s international expansion.

    Emuca’s self-imposed regime for design criteria is rewarded with project certification from an accredited organisation.

    New Headquarters

    The offices at Emuca S.A. are extended by 1200 m2, coming to a total of 2200m2. The following year the warehouse is extended to provide 12000m2 of storage space and the most advanced logistics systems are installed to optimise response times to both national and international demand.

    New facilities in Italy

    New facilities are opened for Emuca Srl (Padua, Italia) with a surface of 6400 m2: 5200 m2 for storage and 1200 m2 for offices.

    International Consolidation - Uk, France

    Acquisition of the British company Stockfit Ltd. leads to a new Emuca headquarters being set up close to London in the UK in order to meet the demands of this highly consolidated market.

    Faced with new sector challenges and new client needs, major reorganization of the different company departments was carried out.

    Globalisation, the emergence of new technologies and the need to obtain efficiency across all operations, has led us to launch a series of projects that will help us to automatize our operations and to offer a more efficient service to our clients through the different access channels.

The environment

We are very conscious of the effects that our business activity has on the environment.

Emuca is very conscious of the effects that our business activity has on the environment. That is why:

  • We apply a policy of continuous improvement in meeting the applicable laws and regulations, preventing any contamination of our surroundings at all of the Group’s facilities.
  • We are constantly monitoring the environmental impact associated with existing processes and/or products.
  • We ensure that our transport and packaging suppliers have implemented internal environmental management systems or have plans of action designed to reduce environmental impact.

Guaranteeing our status as an environmentally responsible company is our certification according to ISO standard 14001:2004 which pushes us to keep working on our responsibilities according to the following action plan:

  • We promote the use of eco-packaging on all of our products to ensure that the products used in the packages are designed to use the minimum possible amount of material, to be as small and light as possible and to be 100% recyclable.
  • Our facilities have cleaning, maintenance and separate waste collection services for cardboard, timber, iron, aluminium, toner cartridges, etc., through approved external service providers.
  • We renew our fleet of company vehicles to ensure they are in optimum condition and working order, using the appropriate amount of petrol and thus reducing emissions.
